Privacy Policy

Patrimo SRL is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection law.

Account data: Name, email address, profile image (via OAuth provider).
Property data: Addresses, purchase prices, lease details, financial figures, documents you upload.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration (via PostHog analytics).
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information.

We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) calculate ROI, indexation, compliance, and advisory recommendations; (c) send service-related emails (welcome, password reset, indexation reminders); (d) analyze usage patterns to improve the platform; (e) prevent fraud and abuse.

We process your data based on: (a) performance of our contract with you (providing the Service); (b) your consent (analytics, marketing emails); (c) legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, service improvement).

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Patrimo:
Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, database) — EU region
Stripe (payment processing) — EU/US
Google/Apple (OAuth authentication) — US
PostHog (analytics) — EU
Resend (transactional email) — US
We do not sell your data. We do not share property or financial data with any third party.

Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the European Union (Western Europe region). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement access controls, audit logging, and rate limiting to protect your data.

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely. Billing records are retained as required by Belgian tax law (7 years).

Under GDPR, you have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Port your data to another service
• Restrict processing of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are used only with your consent. You can manage cookie preferences at any time through the cookie banner.

Patrimo is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
